San Francisco native Troy Hennessy has been creating music since 2016 when he dropped his first ever single on SoundCloud titled “Permanent”. After gaining a bit of traction from this single, Troy Hennessy locked in and started grinding over the next couple years till 2019 rolled around. Now in 2019 Troy Hennessy dropped his single titled “Spose To” that did great numbers and also skyrocketed the amount of support that Troy Hennessy was receiving. Gaining influence from legendary artists like Lil Wayne, Mac Dre, Dr Dre, and Kendrick, Troy Hennessy tells me that hearing the way they all told their stories made him feel like he could tell his. Looking to use his music career to help the people he loves most, Troy Hennessy wants to give his loved ones the life they wanted to give him, but even better. Troy Hennessy’s news project titled “Early Release” is a compilation of songs that he was supposed to release before he was incarcerated. Every song within this album is an audible representation of how he thinks and lives his life: Free.
