Today I have the pleasure of introducing you all to an up and coming artist from Atlanta, GA (East Atlanta) that goes by the name of Pretty Kartier. Originally a division one athlete, Pretty Kartier dropped out of college after not being pleased with the demands of the NCAA. After leaving school and moving to HTX, Pretty Kartier (Unintentionally) became a madam (Female Pimp). Now residing back in East Atlanta, Pretty Kartier pushes her music that is a direct reflection of her journey to her community. “Pinky Ring Pimpin” was released by Pretty Kartier back in March of 2022. This project was heavily supported by the Atlanta community and has run up over 3000 streams in the Atlanta area alone. “Pinky Ring Pimpin” truly provided insight, inspiration, and motivation as to who Pretty Kartier is as an artist and the potential she holds. Aside from having an interesting backstory, Pretty Kartier prides herself on giving her community an opportunity for advancement through her very own commercial cleaning company. She especially looks to hire convicted felons (Non Violent Offenses) and help them transition back into everyday living, giving them a sustainable job and education on how they can own their own business by working in the trades. It’s awesome to see this type of dedication coming from an artist to better their community and the team at Splash Bakery couldn’t be more excited to see what Pretty Kartier has planned for the future! Make sure to check out her music by clicking HERE and be on the lookout for upcoming releases from this talented artist in the future!
