Another Artist Goes From The Bay To LA: SUMMI

Yet again we have amazing talent out of the Bay area going down South to the city of Angels. This is an individual the Bakery is very excited to introduce to you guys. Give it one for the one and only, SUMMI! Just last year he dropped his first official album titled “M.E.S.I.”. To his surprise it was received pretty well, considering the fact he’s still fairly new to the music scene. This is what opened his eyes up to the fact that music was a serious career possibility. Shortly after the album was released he received a job making music for films and television shows. This is where LA enters the picture. He had to make a big life decision to pack his things up and head down south to seize this huge opportunity. Obviously it being a no brainer, within the month he was gone and it’s been history ever since. He’s currently working on finishing up his new album with a couple of visuals to go along with it. SUMMI is very excited to share this project with his fans, friends, and family. He’s looking to roll out the album this summer so make sure to be on the lookout! It’s really no surprise that SUMMI chose to make music for a living. Growing up he was surrounded by family members who all played at least one instrument. And not to mention there was always music playing in the house consisting of all genres. Being exposed to multiple types of genres will allow you to have a greater understanding of how music can be created. And once SUMMI got to high school, he finally began recording himself and putting those years of playing and studying music to use. We’re excited to see SUMMI’s career take off from here and if you haven’t checked out his album yet, click the title of it above! And click here to listen to his latest release from April, titled "i might" featuring Dupoint Randle!
